What is Life and Career Coaching?

Life and Career coaching is a fee based 1:1 service I’m offering to help people navigate their professional life. Why “Life and Career”? Because career is part of life, there’s nothing such as “work/life balance”, unless you are a character of “Severance“.

If you think you might need my help go ahead and book your first appointment 😉

What is NOT Career Development Coaching?

Even if I did study a bit of psychology, I’m not a therapistIf you think you have clinical problems (clinical burn out or worst) you should seek different kind of help and contact a professional psychotherapist or psychiatrist. Remember that there is nothing to be ashamed of, on the contrary: acknowledging that you have a problem and trying to deal with it to get better is a symptom of courage and a desire to become a better person.

I can’t promise you any result: we can do our best, but life is not deterministic.

I’m simply here to offer my help and experience with living and working in different environments, how to better prepare to get there, what are the challenges you’ll probably face in your career, and more importantly, how to design your ideal work life.

My credentials for this service

You certainly wouldn’t throw away your hard-earned money, giving it away to the first person who offers to help you. So… why/how you can trust me? After all, I am just one of the many bloggers around the world.
I can’t say I’m better than you, I’m not that arrogant, but on my side I have quite a bit of experience:

  • I have always liked to improve and help others to bring out their best part, from my Scouting experience as a child;
  • I succesfully passed the exams to enter a Military Academy, at the first attempt and while still finishing the high school (which I was the only one to pass with flying colors in my class);
  • I finished the academy (and all of its activities, courses and training) on schedule, while getting a degree in engineering, managing very limited time and energy;
  • I served my Country as an engineer military officer for more than 15 years, covering several positions in very different fields and different parts of the world, including areas of operations during missions;
  • I managed different teams of professionals (up to 40+ technicians per team) responsible for expensive sensitive systems, often in critical situations;
  • I worked closely with teams of all kinds, including large multinational corporations and government officials, and I have presented works of my teams to every kind of audience, including VIPs and politicians;
  • I visited 40+ Countries, interacting with people from the different continents, everytime trying to better understand their point of views;
  • I’ve been an instructor and a mentor in extremely different topics;
  • When I decided to leave my career as a military officer and my country at the same time, I did a “triple jump” (changed country, job sector, level) completely by myself: I landed myself a job in a well-known company in the country I love, at the first attempt, just a few weeks after my decision, without having had help from anyone (but support from my beloved ones while I put away my uniform);
  • I spend a considerable amount of time in learning and critical thinking – these are just some courses and books I completed, not to mention all the courses I completed before (including another master’s degree in strategy and international security) and the manuals I devoured;
  • I’m already coaching people (of different socio-economic backgrounds and education, gender, country… and aspirations) on their life and career development since 2014.

If you’re interested and you think I can be useful to you at this point of your life, send me an email, I’ll be glad to help you:
